Minimising Visual Impact for the Local Area

We are mindful of minimising the visual impact of our sites and take many steps to help blend into the surrounding area, we:

1. Plant trees and hedgerows around our anaerobic digestion plants
2. Use top soil to form screening bunds seeded with wildflowers
3. Match the colour of the site to its surroundings
4. Build the tallest parts of the site at the lowest ground level or in the most screened area

This reduces views of the site and it increases biodiversity by at least 15%.
